Complete title: Cooksland in North-Eastern Australia; the future cotton-field of Great Britain: its characteristics and capabilities for European colonization with a disquisition on the origin, manners and customs of the Aborigines. Printed by T. Constable, Edinburgh.

Includes a foldable map of 43 by 28 cm of the eastern coastal area around Clarence River, torn on some folding lines. Also seven lithographs, in good condition.

Original binding with relief, small damages on the cover edges. Some pencil notations and a small library stamp.
