Description	This is a decorative, beautiful coloured copper engraving map out of a French Atlas edition from Gerard Mercator. This map shows West Frisia, Groningen, Drenthe and Overijssel in the Netherlands, the West Frisian islands: Terschelling (Schellinck), Ameland (Amelandt), Schiermonnikoog (Schiermonickoghe, Bosch with the place Cornsant which is not there anymore and Hessesant, the adjacent areas in Northern Germany etc. The map is decorated with nice title cartouche.
